I hope they call me on a mission...
Today was the first day of the 182nd Semiannual General Conference, and the most Spirit filled day of my entire life, so much that I can't even fall asleep right now because these emotions cannot be quieted. Today President Monson announced that the age restriction for women of the church to serve a fulltime mission is now 19 years of age, an age which is just around the corner for me. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is no coincidence, and the Lord has presented me with an opprotunity to serve and to teach, just as was promised me in my Patriarchal Blessing. I want to share this great love I feel inside with everyone, and to use my talents for the good of others and for the strengthening of the Lord's people all over the world. Oh how blessed I am to have this wonderful opportunity to go forth to serve, and I know that I can recieve no greater blessing than this, at this great time in my life. Nothing gives me greater joy than the knowlege of my Savior Jesus Christ, and I will forever stand as a witness of God at all times, in all things, and in all places I should be called to serve. I am a daughter of God and I have a testimony of this gospel's truthfullness, and I will not be shaken. :)

Women's Conference!!
This weekend was spectacular!!!! I had the opportunity to go to Women's Conference in PERSON at Salt Lake City yesterday!!! I've never been in the same room as the First Presidency before and it was just an amazing feeling to know that a phophet of God was in the room. All of the speakers were excellent as well as the music, and the Second Councelor in the Relief Society Presidency made me cry my eyes out talking about the Atonement. Both her talk and President Benson's meant so much to me and made me feel so special and at peace. I am so grateful for this opportunity I had to go with my ward and I am so happy that I was able to partake of that spirit in person. :)
So many women!!!!!
I love the Salt Lake City Temple!! (But I <3 the Mesa Temple the most)

First Month at Brigham Young University
So now that my roomates have started blogging I suppose I should give this another go since I'm dreadful at journaling and being at BYU I should probably get better at this. Classes have been great so far, Astronomy is AMAZING! Although this next week might be tough with my first couple exams. BUT tonight is Stake Conference and tomorrow my stake is going to the Brigham City Temple open house, so I'll get an extra spiritual boost for the week!! ^_^
For references sake, heres my class list:
Rel A 121 (BOM part 1- so far I've learned that if I'm not honest I'll be thrust down to Hell >.>)
Math 302 (Calculus 2 w/ Engineering <------crazy hard sometimes!!!!)
Physics 191 (kind of an odd class but it talks about careers in physics)
Physics 121 (Physics part 1<-----The teacher is insane!!! He dumped water ALL over the room yesterday showing us what happens to a bucket of water in centripetal acceleration if the speed is too slow XD)
Physics 127 (ASTRONOMY!! Which is in the planetarium!!! aka: my new happy place)
ASL 102 (ASL part 2 which is a bit intimidating since the teacher is Deaf but it isn't that bad, thanks Mrs. K for being such a great teacher in high school!!!!!!)
And there we have it! My awesome schedule with buckets of homework! But it really is amazing here with weekly devotionals, FHE groups, ward prayer, and just having prayer at the beginning of class! the spirit here is so strong all the time and it is so easy to make friends if you just put in the effort :P
Anywho, next week is the Brigham City Temple dedication, and I got my first temple reccommend which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! So I've decided it's pretty much guaranteed to be a good week!!!

Cross Country
I forgot to mention! On Wednesday our team ran against La Joya, Youngkers, and South Mountain at South Mountain (which was the WORST course I've ever been on) and I took 7th place out of 36!!! And my legs have never hurt so bad =P
You'd think since its the end of September it would get cooler, but obviously not in the Valley -__-
Bad Cat!
Scooter decided to bring in a kingsnake!! And of course Grandma and Grandpa weren't home to save me until 7!
